I heard this song Friday night on Ghost Whisperer. As soon as I heard it I fell in love with it. It’s like it’s the thoughts of my soul. I want this song done at my funeral when I die. The band is Midnight Hour. I’m not sure if I have the lyrics completely right, but this is as close as I can tell what it says.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what I want done after I die. I most definitely want this song played. I want everyone to think of me finally getting to run away. Imagine me running through an open field while it is starting to storm with my eyes closed and my arms outstretched and my face lifted toward the sky. Imagine me running just like that until finally lightening strikes and then I’ll be gone, away from this place. (If you’ve seen the movie Powder than you’ll get the idea.) And I want everyone to know that I’ve finally ran away and am away from all that makes me sad, away from all that hurts me, away from my broken heart. Imagine me running away, and know that I’m finally free.
And if he is still alive I would like to get my mom’s first husband, Ray, to sing Almost Home. I’ve never felt at home anywhere really. Maybe then I will.

funny because i heard that song on the ghost whisperer too and fell for it rigtht there and then , think if a song fits ur situation its part of ur soul like this song was part of mine , i saw the movie powder years ago and i liked and didnt because of the meaning of it but what i do know is that its ok to be different and sometimes its a choice and sometimes it isnt but its ok never the less , ppl are there to teach us what we need to learn eventhough the lesson seems so harsh at times .and yes me to runs away at times part of life right ! take care

Ghost Whisperer just finished, yep, right this moment, I immediately Googled for the song, I memerized part of the lyrics from the show, then typed them in google, this page was the first thing to come out, Done downloading Running Away from Midnight Hour, I’m so happy, I truely fell in love with that song, and I really like Michele Mclaughlins’ surrender, downlading it too.

After 2 months of having this episode of Ghost Whisperer on my DVR, I finally had a chance to watch it. Yeah…Running Away is awesome. After about an hour I was finally able to DL it on Bearshare. funny thing because I T0O saw it on ghost wisperer.. I watch the show EVERY day! I’m in love with anything having to do with spirits.. I’m from New orleans so go figure… and when the guy FINALLY sang the song he’d written for that girl I had goose bumps.!!! It was sssssoooo beautiful!!
